Cindy
Cindy is a Senior Stylist and Owner.
She completed her initial training with MC College in Calgary and was working at an Aveda Salon to start her apprenticeship simultaneously. At MC College Cindy was the recipient of the Frank Cairo award for commitment, integrity and respect. She holds a red seal journeyman certificate in hairstyling. She has been styling hair since 2008 and has been working in Camrose since 2010. She continues to remain current with advanced classes and education.
Her favourite products to use are Aveda Thickening Tonic and Aveda Thermal Heat Styling Dry Conditioner.
Her favourite parts of the hair industry are working with curly hair, women's haircutting, making connections with people and building their trust.
She loves team sports, chocolate and spending time with her family.
Favourite Quote: Clip dead ends for growth, this doesn't always mean getting a hair cut.
Courtney
Courtney is a Intermediate Stylist.
She started with us in August 2020. She is born and raised in Strome, Alberta. She attended MC College in Red Deer and graduated in 2018. She is completed her Alberta Hairstylist licensing and currently an Ambassador for Aveda.
When she's not perfecting her balayage techniques she is camping and hanging out with family and friends. She's a perfect addition to the Roots Hair Company Team.
Her favourite parts of the hair industry are long hair cutting and balayage techniques.

Lindsey
Lindsey is a Junior Stylist
She started with us from day 1, December 2018. She is born and raised in Camrose. She attended MC College in Edmonton and graduated as the Valedictorian in November 2017. She has been working in Camrose since her graduation. She has completed her journeyman certification as well as her Red Seal. Recently Lindsey has started as an Ambassador for Aveda.
She is extremely talented and has a passion for the artistry in the hair industry. She has competed in the Sebastian "Whats Next Award" and was a semi finalist. She continues to attend advanced education classes to further her hairstyling knowledge. Her favourite make up is Tarte quick dry matte lip paint.
Her favourite products to use are Aveda Speed of Light Blow-dry spray and Aveda Defining Whip
Her favourite parts of the hair industry are Balayage, colours, and Avant garde competitions.
Haven
Haven is an apprentice stylist.
She started with Roots Hair Company in June 2025. She is currently working on her apprenticeship and working towards her licensing.
She graduated from Estelle Academy in Edmonton in May 2025. She grew up in New Norway Alberta.She spent a lot of time with family and friends either out on the farm or at the hockey rink. Haven has a passion for connecting with clients and making people feel like the best version of themselves.
Her favourite part of the industry is dimensional colours and weft extensions.
Myia
Myia is an apprentice stylist.
She started in June 2026. She graduated from high school in Camrose, Alberta. After High school she attended MC College in Edmonton graduating in March 2026 with Academic Honours and receiving an award for her marks.
When she isn't at the salon Myia is busy with friends, family and animals. She is also a basketball coach and enjoys staying active through sports.
Her favourite parts of the hair industry are hair colouring and creating updos. She loves helping clients feel beautiful and confident.
